Drainage System Cleaning and Minor Repairs on N. Andrews Avenue

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The County's Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division will be performing drainage system cleaning, inspection, and point repairs along North Andrews Avenue from Sunrise Boulevard to Oakland Park Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and Wilton Manors (see attached map). This gas tax-funded work is scheduled to start Monday, April 20, 2026, and conclude in August 2026, barring any unforeseen conditions or weather-related delays.

Work will begin at the southern end of the project limits and advance north. One lane in each direction on North Andrews Avenue will be open at all times. Driveways and sidewalks will be accessible throughout the duration of the project. 

This project occurs in District 8 (southbound lanes), represented by Vice Mayor Robert McKinzie, and District 4, (northbound lanes), represented by Commissioner Lamar Fisher.
