The United States Census is coming in April 2020 and residents are invited to Broward County’s Census 2020 Complete Count Committee Kick-off Meeting to see how they can contribute to this important effort.

A correct count is critical for Broward County as Census numbers are used to determine federal representation in addition to funding of programs such as supplemental nutrition assistance (SNAP), Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers, Children’s Health Insurance, and Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP).
