BROWARD COUNTY, FL - It's time to celebrate! To mark the one-year anniversary of the new Broward County Animal Care Adoption Center, the community is invited to a special adoption celebration. Join us on Saturday, November 18th, from 10AM to 5PM, at the Animal Care Adoption Center, 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale. This event is made possible as part of a grant received by the Petco Foundation to support lifesaving programs for pets in need throughout the County.

This special community-focused event will feature pets that have been rescued by Animal Care's Rescue Partners. The organizations will have booths and pets available for adoption and Bryan Carstensen (aka Miss Bryan), the HITS 97.3 Radio personality will also join the fun by broadcasting live from 11AM to 3PM, and urging listeners to come out and adopt.

Friends of Animal Care is helping the Rescue Partners through sponsorship of adoption fees which will be waived on all pets. Adopters will also receive a special anniversary gift and coloring books and crayons will be available for children.

All pet adoptions include spaying/neutering, a physical exam, all necessary vaccinations, a Broward County Rabies Registration tag and a microchip.

Come out to celebrate and help available cats and dogs find their forever home.
