BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Library customers can now use Fast Lane, a quick, easy way to check out items from Broward County Library. I
nstead of waiting in line to pick up holds and get materials checked out, books, DVDs and CDs can be picked up at new customer-holds shelves and then taken to any of the new Fast Lane checkout stations.

Fast Lane is part of Broward County Library's new Service Model, launched earlier this year, that provides the community with longer service hours and more open days at library locations without any increase to the library's budget. Fast Lane also allow library staff to provide more one-on-one assistance in addition to making more materials and resources readily available to customers.

"Broward County Library is constantly seeking new ways to provide a better customer experience and Fast Lane is the latest," says Broward County Libraries Division Acting Director Laura Connors.
