BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Libraries (BCL) and Broward County Public Schools have partnered to offer the digital library service Axis 360, consisting of eBooks of young reader material that can be read or listened to on or offline. The newly-acquired Axis 360 collection supplements school library collections, empowering students to become successful learners and lifelong readers.

Customized categories within Axis 360 make it easy for students to find titles matching their interests and allows teachers to create recommended reading lists with instantly available material. Axis 360 study features include built-in tools for research, highlighting and note-taking. eBooks can be checked out online via Axis 360 -- anywhere and anytime -- and are returned automatically upon expiration, without the concerns for parents about late, lost or damaged books.

Visit Broward.org/Library to access new collection
from any Android, iDevice or Kindle Fire with the free Axis 360 mobile app. Users can also access Axis 360 with a tablet, PC or Mac computer. The option to use a traditional library card or BCL Digital Direct Library Card, using a student ID as a library card number, makes access even more convenient for Broward County students.
