BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The County's Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division is actively monitoring the current weather conditions impacting our region. As part of the County's proactive flood mitigation efforts, all available vacuum trucks have been deployed to clear stormwater systems and manage localized flooding in high-risk areas. All pumps are ready for deployment in low lying areas around Broward. These operations will continue throughout the day.
Residents are urged to avoid driving through flooded streets and clear loose items from their yards. Report flooding by calling 311 or the Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division at (954) 357-6040.

Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division maintain and improves the County's highway/street system, operates drawbridges, and oversees mosquito control operations. The Division is responsible for cleaning and mowing rights-of-way, street patching and resurfacing, intersection improvements, canal maintenance and construction, guardrail maintenance, bridge maintenance, street cleaning and stormwater drainage improvements.
