BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Broward County Transit (BCT) has officially hit the road with a spectacular new visual tribute to freedom and history: a fully wrapped, 40-foot commuter bus honoring the 250th Anniversary of the United States.

The "America 250" rolling monument is designed to inspire national pride and foster community connection. It serves as a moving reminder of the diverse stories, cultures, and generations that have shaped the American experience over the last two and a half centuries.

The eye-catching, patriotic masterpiece was designed in-house by Gabriela Bello, a videographer and graphic designer within BCT's Office of External Affairs & Communications. Bello's unique artistic vision transforms the massive canvas of a standard 40-foot transit vehicle into a vibrant, nostalgic mosaic of American history.

The intricate design depicts a meticulously arranged collection of vintage and historic United States stamps. Each individual stamp acts as a standalone window into the past, celebrating a distinct chapter, milestone, or cultural hallmark of our 250-year-old nation. From groundbreaking historical achievements to the diverse faces and landscapes that define the country, the artwork honors both the progress made, and the shared future Americans continue to build together.

"This bus brings that spirit to life," said BCT CEO and General Manager Coree Cuff Lonergan. "It's a rolling tribute to the history we honor, the progress we're making today, and the bright future we're building for the next generation."

The commemorative bus will serve passengers across BCT's standard fixed routes throughout Broward County. Residents and visitors are encouraged to look out for this special tribute as it travels through local communities and regional transit hubs.
