Free Urban League Youth Leadership Program at Collier City Library

BROWARD COUNTY, FL - The Youth Leadership Program, a free, life-changing opportunity for youth ages 10 to 18 that addresses anger management, gang resistance, social responsibility and character building, meets every Friday from 3:30-5PM beginning February 15, 2019, through December 2019 at the Jan Moran Collier City Learning Library, 2800 NW 9th Court, Pompano Beach Florida 33069. 

 The Youth Leadership Program is a community-based initiative designed and presented by the Urban League of Broward County to empower, educate and provide opportunities for youth to serve as leaders in their communities. The program focuses on crime prevention and intervention, with components to promote self-esteem, self-confidence and the ability to handle peer pressure.

It will serve as an ongoing resource to cultivate the dreams and aspirations of young people by focusing on self-determination and other core values.
