Broward County Animal Care Expands Weekend Hours

BROWARD COUNTY, FL – Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, is expanding its weekend hours to the public. Effective Saturday, July 21, the Adoption Center will be open from 11AM to 6PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Based on the new changes, residents will be able to visit the Adoption Center Tuesday through Sunday from 11AM to 6PM. The Adoption Center will be closed on Mondays.

The extended weekend hours will enable residents more time to visit the shelter to adopt or foster a pet.  Residents will also be able to purchase a Broward County license tag, drop off a lost pet, or be reunited with their dog or cat.

Clinic hours for foster pet checks will remain the same on Saturdays and Sundays: 11AM to 4PM.  The Clinic will also be closed for lunch from 1:30PM to 2:30PM.
