BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Long, long ago in a library far, far away…(okay, maybe more like just a few years back) in a handful of Broward County Library locations, a group of geek-minded librarians began celebrating Star Wars Day – “May the Fourth Be with You.” Since then, the celebration has grown into a month filled with free, fun Star Wars-related events, including celebrations of the new post-Star Wars Day holiday, "Revenge of the Fifth."

Grab your light sabers and your favorite Wookie and check out free movie screenings and marathons, a costume contest, the mysterious "Lost Museum of the Jedi," Library Jedi Academy and a virtual reality Star Wars experience. You can also get hands-on with futuristic robotics, out-of-this-world LEGOs and a "May the Fourth Bead with You" arts and crafts program.

For a full schedule of events - all free and open to the public - please see the list at the bottom of this page.
