BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - North Regional/Broward College Library, located at 1100 Coconut Creek Blvd., Coconut Creek, FL 33066, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its opening at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014. People of all ages, from nine months to 99 years, are invited to participate in a lively interactive entertainment experience led by performers from Drum Café. Share reminiscences of the library over the years, along with refreshments and lively entertainment.

North Regional/Broward College Library was built as the second partnership library of Broward County and Broward College (BC), following the success of the South Regional/Broward College Library in Pembroke Pines. North Regional opened to the students, faculty and staff of Broward College on January 3, 1994, followed by a grand opening to the general public on June 13, 1994. In 1995, the Friends of North Regional/Broward County Library organization was established. Among their successful projects is a an award-winning free tutoring program for youth, an ongoing library book fair and a gift shop.
