BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The upcoming May monthly Business Development Series workshop presented by the Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development will spotlight branding expert Jay Leopardi, CEO and founder of Bad Boy Branding, in commemoration of National Small Business Week, May 12-16. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 17, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Weston Branch Library, located at 4205 Bonaventure Blvd. in Weston.
The featured topic of the May workshop is “Aspiring Entrepreneurs and Inventors” and attendees will get tips and strategies to transform their ideas into a valid business concept and learn how to take their concept to the next level.
The focus of the workshop series is developing, creating capacity and providing resources to the small business community and features a roster of topical guest speakers offering tips and tools to help nurture, sustain and improve firms.
A lifestyle and pop culture branding expert, Leopardi reinvents the traditional structure of brand development in his work with start-up entrepreneurs, celebrities and top tier corporations. Called the “master of reinvention” by Strategy Magazine, Leopardi’s skills range from concept actualization and innovative inventions to new business funding techniques and product launch campaigns. Leopardi serves as a model entrepreneurial success story, leading a business that originated in his home and now includes contestants from TVs Shark Tank among its roster of clients.
The workshop series is free and open to the public; pre-registration is not required. Note: Leopardi’s presentation will be video recorded. Attendees will be asked to complete a release form.
