BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - Broward County Emergency Management Division is sponsoring a Business Disaster Assistance Programs workshop conducted by the South Florida Disaster Resiliency Coalition (SFDRC) on Thursday, March 27, at the Broward Emergency Operation Center (EOC) located at 201 N.W. 84 Ave. in Plantation from 9 to 11 a.m. The event is free to all Broward County small business owners.
The guest speaker at the workshop will be Miguel E. Gonzalez, assistant district director for Lender Relations for the South Florida District of the Small Business Administration. Gonzalez, a 28-year federal service professional, oversees all participant lenders, microlenders and certified development centers in South Florida. Officials from the SFDRC will also be at the workshop to provide briefings.
