Cooper City to Host Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling Drop-Off Even on Sunday, March 23

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Pack up your old computer, monitor, TV and any outdated household chemicals such as pesticides, paint and more, and head for a convenient drop-off event on Sunday, March 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at  the Sports Complex, located at 10300 Stirling Road, in Cooper City. 

This free Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics Recycling drop-off event, hosted by Cooper City, is open to residents of the following cities that have participation agreements with Broward County: Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, Unincorporated Broward, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors

Proof of residency, such as a photo ID with current address showing residency in one of the cities named above and one of the following: a utility bill, a vehicle registration or a trim notice/tax bill, is required. The addresses must match.

Residents of participating cities may also drop-off household hazardous waste and electronics every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following Residential Drop-Off Centers:

  • Davie, 5490 Reese Road (off Davie Road)
  • West Park, 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. (east of U.S. 441)
