BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The website for Broward County’s Accounting Division has been relaunched in “responsive design” and now automatically adjusts to different devices, including smaller mobile and tablet devices, without losing functionality.
Visitors to the site will be able to search payments provided they are a registered vendor with Broward County. Directions are provided to assist vendors on the best way to process invoices for payment. New vendors can register online from the site. The website also provides links to the key reports issued and received by the Broward County Accounting Division.
The Broward County website, originally designed for a personal computer, supports the activities of more than 50 County agencies and garners more than 2.8 million page views per month. Today, approximately 20 percent of visitors access the site from a mobile device. In response to this growing trend, the County's new design provides more direct links to County information, programs and services; fewer images for quicker load times, and a "responsive design" that automatically adjusts to different devices, including smaller mobile and tablet devices, without losing functionality.
