BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Pack up your old computer, monitor, TV and any outdated household chemicals such as pesticides, paint and more, and head for a convenient drop-off event this coming Sunday, February 23, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Roosevelt Gardens Park, located at 2841 N.W. 11 Street, west of I-95 and north of Sunrise Boulevard.
This free household hazardous waste and electronics recycling drop-off event is hosted by Broward County’s Unincorporated communities and is open to residents of the following cities that have participation agreements with Broward County: Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Parkland, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, Unincorporated Broward, West Park, Weston and Wilton Manors. Proof of residency is required, such as a photo ID with current address showing residency in one of the cities named above and one of the following: a utility bill, a vehicle registration or a trim notice/tax bill. The addresses must match.

Residents of participating cities may also drop-off household hazardous waste and electronics every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following Residential Drop-Off Centers:
- Davie, 5490 Reese Road (off Davie Road)
- Pompano Beach, 2780 N. Powerline Road (north of Copans Road)
- West Park, 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. (east of U.S. 441)
