Anne Kolb Nature Center Hosts Gallery Exhibit

WHAT: BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - The exhibit hall at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park hosts a free Gallery Exhibit. The show is now open and runs from through Wednesday, January 29. "Nature's Bounty on Land and Sea" features the art of Pauline Goldsmith, Bev Borland, and Leo Hernandez.
The British-born Goldsmith and the California transplant Borland are co-directors of Tropical Botanic Artists, a Miami-based collective. Both also belong to the Miami Watercolor Society, and Goldsmith is on the board of the American Society of Botanical Artists. The Cuban-born Hernandez, who has studied art widely, joined the Tropical Botanic Artists collective after taking illustration classes at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.

The nature center’s exhibit hall is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no charge to view the art exhibit, although there is a per-person fee of $2 to tour the exhibit hall.
