BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Effective October 1, some Broward County residents will see changes to the ways they can dispose of household hazardous waste, electronics, bulk waste and yard waste, as a result of the expiration of waste disposal agreements with participating municipalities this past July.

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal and Electronics Drop-Off
Now available only to residents of: 
Cooper City, Dania Beach, Deerfield Beach, Hollywood, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Lauderdale Lakes, Margate, Pembroke Park, Sea Ranch Lakes, West Park, WestonWilton Manors and Unincorporated Broward County. For details, visit Household Hazardous Waste.

Residential Yard Waste and Bulk Waste Drop-Off
Now available only to residents of:
Dania Beach, Hollywood, Margate, Pembroke Park, Weston, West Park and Unincorporated Broward County. For details, visit Residential Yard Waste.

Drop-Off Locations
If your city is listed above, the following drop-off locations are available for the disposal of household hazardous waste, electronics, yard waste and bulk waste; they are open Saturdays only, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: 

  • Pompano Beach — 2780 N. Powerline Road (north of Copans Road)
  • West Park — 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. (east of U.S. 441)
  • Davie — 5490 Reese Road (off Davie Road)

Proof of residency in a participating city is required (photo ID and a document that shows your official address such as a tax bill, TRIM notice, voter registration, utility bill, or other official government-issued document).
