BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Broward County Libraries once again invites the community to take part in the Big Library Read, in which libraries worldwide offer a simultaneous-use title to their eBook collection that is free to all customers. The Big Library Read is an effort designed to unite library customers from around the world – all with one eBook! The program will begin September 16 and run through September 30.

This year’s title is Fancy Nancy: Nancy Clancy, Super Sleuth, by Jane O’Connor, the first in a series of delightful elementary-school mysteries featuring Sassy “Fancy Nancy” Clancy, student and detective. The free title will be available in eBook for Kindle, OverDrive Read, and EPUB formats and as an audiobook to Broward County Library card holders for simultaneous use. There are no wait lists for the title, and it will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, so readers don’t have to worry about returning a book.

To get started, visit Broward County Library’s eCollection. During the Big Library Read, Sept. 16-30, Fancy Nancy: Nancy Clancy, Super Sleuth will be featured prominently and customers can download it for free. Participants can also follow the “Fancy Nancy” books at facebook.com/fancynancybooks.
