BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. - The Broward County Office of Economic and Small Business Development, in conjunction with Broward College, will host the 2013 Export Readiness Seminar, 9 a.m. to noon, on Wednesdays, August 28, and September 4 and 11. This event will be held at Broward College, 111 E. Las Olas Blvd., Room 1208, Fort Lauderdale.
The Export Readiness Seminar is a three-part series designed to educate Broward County companies on how to begin exporting. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
• Determine their interest and readiness to export
• Conduct market research to identify desired markets
• Understand the basics of developing an export plan
• Comply with regulations of the United States and the receiving country
• Access various available resources for export guidance
The Export Readiness Seminar is part of the Broward County's ongoing efforts to reinforce the local economy through a network of sustainable small- and medium-sized businesses. This seminar is free and open to the general business community. Metered parking is available in the City of Fort Lauderdale parking garage.
