Broward County Animal Care and Adoption
In honor of July Fourth, Broward County Animal Care and Adoption is making it easier for all dogs and cats to declare their independence with special $7, $4 and $13 adoption fees! This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 5-7, residents who adopt a pet will be able to spin a special adoption wheel in order to determine their adoption fee of $7, $4 or $13. This is a significant reduction from normal dog and cat adoption fees of $50. Both adoption centers will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
Feline lovers can double the fun during the “two-for-one” promotion by adopting two felines at the special July 4 promotional rate. The “Dec-PAW-ration for Independence” special is available at the Fort Lauderdale Animal Care and Adoption Center, located at 1870 S.W. 39 St., as well as the Pompano Beach Adoption Center, 3100 NW 19th Terrace.
All adoptions include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, Broward County pet registration tag and microchip — a value of more than $200.
Broward County’s Animal Care and Adoption is dedicated to providing shelter for lost and surrendered animals as well as the successful adoption of homeless pets. The agency also coordinates the registration of dogs and cats and provides rabies vaccinations to encourage a healthier pet population.
