Quiet Waters Park Hosts Deerfield Beach Wine & Food Festival

WHAT: Quiet Waters Park will host the third annual Deerfield Beach Wine & Food Festival, from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. Wine connoisseurs, food aficionados, and adventurous novices will be able to sample more than 75 artisan wines, craft beers, and gourmet food from South Florida’s top chefs. The event also includes cooking demonstrations, live music, and a retail market. This year’s theme is “A Blue Wave Affair.” Highlights include:

  • VIP Dinner Under the Stars (Friday, 7-10 p.m.)
  • Vineyard Party (Friday, 7:30-10 p.m.)
  • VIP Grand Tasting (Saturday, 6-10:30 p.m.)
  • Grand Tasting (Saturday, 7-10:30 p.m.)
  • Jazz Bubbles & Brunch (Sunday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.)

HOW: Tickets range from $40 to $125, depending on event and level of participation. Purchase advance tickets (required) online at DeerfieldBeachWineAndFoodFestival.com, or call 561-338-7594. The park’s regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) will be in effect.

Founded in February 1956 and accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies, Broward County Parks and Recreation Division manages almost 6,500 acres, encompassing nearly 50 regional parks and nature centers, neighborhood parks, and natural areas at various stages of development. Facilities include water parks, campgrounds, a target range, a stadium, a skate park, an observatory, mountain bike trails, an educational farm with stables, and a velodrome and other sports facilities.
