Webcam Now Available to View Runway Construction at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

A webcam is now available at
to view the construction progress of the expanded South Runway at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. There are three cameras with different views of the future 8,000’ elevated runway. The cameras take photos every 15 minutes.
One camera overlooks the construction of the future tunnels over US 1 and the Florida East Coast Railroad. The second camera shows the midsection of the runway. The third camera provides a west view of the runway.
Features of the webcam include zoom, toggle, and time-lapse.
The $791 million expanded South Runway is part of an overall $2 billion Capital Improvement Program that includes the redevelopment/expansion of Terminal 4 and a Terminal Modernization Program.
