Broward Cultural Division’s December Edition of Cultural Quarterly fine arts magazine, is now available online. A free service of the Broward County Commission since 1988, Cultural Quarterly magazine, provides in-depth articles on the local, cultural scene, revealing profiles of exceptional artists and detailed listings of events and attractions.

In this issue, readers can get an insider’s view on the Young at Art Museum in Labor of Love, by writer Julie Levin, while Helene Foster interviews Denyse Baboolal of JayaDevi, Arts Inc., who teaches both traditional and popular Indo-Caribbean dance forms. Also South Florida Cultural Consortium winner Christina Pettersson is examined through the pen of writer Rachel Galvin in Resurrecting Reality Appearances can be Deceiving.

Topics in Cultural Quarterly include interesting information bytes in Art news, City Corner and Public Art Updates. Longer features usually include articles on Broward County history or literature; a featured artist, a strong angle on the arts in Broward County, and both Broward Cultural Council and Business for the Arts of Broward member profiles. There is also a section that introduces readers to the Writers of Cultural Quarterly.
