Broward County has canceled the “How to Do Business with Broward County” workshops scheduled for November 15 and December 20, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale.

The final two workshops in the 2012 series were canceled to facilitate implementation of the new Broward County Business Opportunity Act of 2012 impacting the County’s Small Business programs, passed by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners on October 23, 2012. 

The popular workshop series will resume in 2013. Business owners are encouraged to attend the free informational workshops, designed to assist entrepreneurs in accessing County procurement opportunities.
