Get your game on November 3 at Broward County Libraries!

International Games Day @ Your Library will be celebrated on November 3, 2012. Why not stop by your nearest Broward County Library and get your game on with board and electronic games? International Games Day @ Your Library is an initiative of the American Library Association to reconnect communities with their libraries through all types of games! Last year, more than 27,700 people played games at more than 1,400 libraries in the U.S. and other countries.
Here’s where you can play this year:

Get Your Game All Year Round @ Broward County Library
Broward County Library has over 2,000 video games in its collection including games for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox, and Xbox 360 consoles, all of them available to customers to borrow for free. Currently, only four library locations house video games, but games can be requested from those libraries listed below for you to pick up at your local branch. Just call the library with the game title and console type and library staff will let you know when the game is ready for pick up.
Customers can search the traditional and new catalogs online for game availability information only or visit the select library locations below to browse and check out games. Video games cannot be placed on hold online, and may not be renewed or rechecked out. There is a loan period of 7 days, with a limit of two games per library card, and the extended loan period/fine per day overdue is $1.
