Broward County Solid Waste and Recycling Services announced that debris in residential areas of unincorporated Broward County, resulting from Tropical Storm Isaac, will be handled through regularly scheduled bulk pick-ups. Municipal residents should check with their cities for details concerning debris collections.

Residents can also drop off vegetative and other debris at Broward County’s Residential Drop-Off Centers. The Centers will be open to all Broward County municipal residents ― except for Hallandale Beach, Parkland, Pembroke Pines and Pompano Beach.

Residential Drop-Off Centers are open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:


  • 2780 N. Powerline Road, Pompano Beach
  • 5490 Reese Road, Davie
  • 5601 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd., West Park
