"Broward County TV" Debuts on AT&T U-verse

"Broward County TV" is now available on AT&T U-verse channel 99. Viewers can watch educational programming 24/7 on a variety of subjects including emergency preparedness, Broward’s history, transportation, public safety and environmental programs on recycling, water conservation, solar power and ways to go green.

In addition to great educational programs, “Broward County TV” will feature live broadcasts of the Broward County Commission meetings held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and the Broward County Purchasing Division Bid Openings each Wednesday at 2 p.m. The County Commission meetings will be rebroadcast at 5:30 p.m. each Friday following a Tuesday Commission meeting. The weekly meetings of the Broward County Commission will resume next week following a summer recess. The Commission meeting will be held Tuesday, August 21, in Room 422 of the Governmental Center, 115 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale. A schedule of upcoming County Commission meetings is available.

The County also provides live coverage of Broward County Commission meetings on Comcast Cable channels 12 and 77 and Advanced Communications, channels 64 and 25. Viewers can also watch the live meetings, bid openings and on-demand videos through the County's website on Video Central.
