Beginning April 1, 2013 the Lauderdale Lakes Branch Library/Educational and Cultural Center, located at 3580 W. Oakland Park Blvd., Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33311 (954-357-8650), will have revised operating hours on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
The Lauderdale Lakes Branch Library/Educational and Cultural Center will now be open Mondays and Tuesdays from 12 noon to 8 p.m. and on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. The library is closed on Fridays and Sundays. Prior to April 1, 2013, the library was open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays to accommodate parking lot lighting issues.
The award-winning Broward County Libraries Division, founded in 1974, is the ninth largest library system in the nation by population served and one of the busiest, with more than 9 million walk-in customers visiting its 40 locations annually. The library has more than 3.4 million items and 2,000 computers for public use and offers hundreds of events and programs to meet the needs of the Broward County's diverse community.
