BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) introduces its newest addition to its Customer Relations Program. The FLL “AmbassaDogs Program” introduces certified therapy dogs and their handlers to passengers throughout the Airport. As traveling can create stress and anxiety for some passengers, the FLL “AmbassaDogs Program” is an opportunity to enhance the customer’s experience, provide stress relief, and comfort to passengers through interaction with pets.
Therapy dogs and handlers will interact with pet-friendly passengers. Travelers who like the calming effects of interacting with a therapy dog may now get the chance while visiting FLL. Passengers will have the opportunity to pet, hug, kiss, and take pictures with our friendly AmbassaDogs (please, no kissing the handlers though).
Meet our four-legged friends as they bring smiles to FLL on Friday, August 23, 2013, at 1 p.m. in Terminal 2.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is a service of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners
